In the automotive use case, a working prototype of a Domain Controller will be implement using the programming and execution layers of the HERCULES framework on Magneti Marelli Pilot Autonomous vehicles to test both on real and simulation environment with a good level of accuracy two main use cases:
- Automatic Valet Parking is one of the most interesting use case in automotive autonomous driving, and it is likely to be one of the first to be really implemented in production. The advantages of this use case is that it addresses an almost structured environment with low speed involved. Moreover, the drivers usually perceive the maneuvers involved as boring ones, and for that reason they are more willing to accept an automation of this task.
- Pedestrian Recognition
